| Sadpara Lake Skardu |
Sadpara Lake is the third deepest lake in Pakistan, with a
maximum depth of 50 meters or 160feet.

The length of Sadpara Lake is 2.5kilometers. The height of
Sadpara Lake above sea level is 2636 meters, and the shoreline of Sadpara Lake
is 7 kilometers.
There also build a dam on Sadpara Lake, called Sadpara Dam.
It irrigates the over 15000 acres area of Skardu City and Gamba Skardu City.
The lake surface is so large that so that surface is noticeable
convex due to the curative of the earth.
At lake level, the opposing shoreline is below the horizon
at its widest parts by nearly 5 feet (1.5meters) at its maximum width &by
some 20 feet(6.2meters) along its length.
The visibility may vary with atmospheric refraction when the air temperature is much greater than the lake temperature, looming may occur where the lake surface or opposing shoreline is lifted above the horizon. Approximately two-thirds of the shoreline is in Skardu the south shore is dominated by the part of the lake is in Sadpara village Skardu district. Which adjoins the city of Skardu, Manthal Area, while Sadapra Bazaar is located on the east side of Sadpara Lake for much of Sadpara village perimeter, many important parts of the shoreline are with Deosai National Park.
